Midge began painting in her early childhood. She graduated from UCLA in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Advertising Art. She has worked as a graphic artist over the years for advertising agencies and publishers. As a free- lance artist she designed the logos for the City of Lomita and the City of Oxnard. In 2000 she resumed painting and 6 years ago joined the San Fernando Valley Art Club and started showing her work in galleries. She also raises money for charities by painting pets from owners’ photographs offered in silent & live auctions for groups including Parents Against Leukemia, Guide Dogs of America, Boys and Girls Club, among others.
